A. Agenda-The agenda was reviewed and there were no amendments.

B. Review minutes of February meeting-The minutes of the meeting were reviewed and no changes were necessary.

C. Good News Report-The girls basketball team made it to the state tournament for the second year in a row.  Mr. Godbeys’ email has been flooded with the Lincoln Girls’ sportsmanship as they cheered on Notre Dame Pandas throughout the tournament.  Several articles have appeared throughout the state.  KUNA’s proposal was accepted in Frankfort and two awards were given to Lincoln County.  Bass Fishing season started.  Two students won at EKU regionals art contest:  Annaleise Fegan & Sabrina Stringer.  Skills USA & HOSA had great competitors with numerous placements.  Brian Carleson was accepted to the Gatton Academy.  The Work Keys pass rate currently has an 81% passing rate unofficially.

E. Public Comment-None

Student Achievement

  1. Review of 150 Day Plan-Mr. Godbey reviewed the 150 day plan and added a section under each rock called “additions to”.  The TAT did not want to remove what currently the school was working on from the 120 day plan.

  •
  1.  Teacher Professional Growth & Effectiveness (TPGES) update-The following teachers will be participating in this project:  Donita Brock, Kevin Bandura, Paula Playforth, Amanda Coffman, & Kristen Story.  This will be a 2.5 days of training in Lexington.  The state wanted to target English, Math, & Special Education.  We are a pilot school for this new teacher growth plan.
  2. March 25th Staff Workday-Teachers will be working in their PLC groups. The Science Department will be skyping.  There will be individual work time and time for teachers to complete the TELL survey.

Budget Report

  1. Review Financial Statements for January 2013-The finances for January 2013 were reviewed.   We still have some carryover from 2012 and will be using it for paper costs.
  2. Staff Allocation-Currently LHCS staffing is at 81%.  All schools need to be at 75%.  For LHCS to reach this 75% allocation, two positions will need to be cut. The best scenario for the students is at LCHS is to cut one PE position (that leaves 2 PE positions) and cut one Agriculture teacher.  This will have the least impact on students.  There will be a special called meeting on this one item next Monday, March 25th at 4:00.

MINUTES AMENDED DURING APRIL MEETING.This should have read: One Agriculture and one Social Studies position will be cut.Adjustments will be made to the PE schedule.

  1. Section 6 Allocation-The allocation for 2013-2014 school year will be $99,972. This is a decrease of 5,428.  The budget committee will be meeting after spring break to work on next year’s allocation.

Committee Reports

  1. Honors Graduation Policy-The second reading of the graduation honors was read and no changes were made.
  2. EOC Policy 2nd Reading Policy-The second reading of the EOC was read, however, there were changes made to items 3 & 4.
