The Lincoln County High School Advisory Council met in its regular scheduled meeting on April 21, 2014 in the LCHS Media Center office. The meeting was called to order by asst. principal, Billy Harris at 4:05 pm.

A. Agenda-The agenda was reviewed and there were no amendments.
B. Review minutes of March-The minutes were reviewed and no changes were necessary.
C. Good News Report-Seven students will be attending GSP. Connor Playforth with be attending Murray State University this summer. Each Friday the school is recognizing different staff members. Brian Carlson, who attends the Gatton Academy, earned a 33 on his ACT. The spring musical was a success. Justice Ezell earned a $20,000 scholarship along with computer equipment from Dell. She is the only student in Kentucky that received this award. There is a new Twitter account, Time for a Change LC, an inspirational account; it will focus on the positives here at LCHS.
D. Public Comment-Mrs. Hatter announced that we will receive $331,638 dollars from the SIG Grant. Revisions to the current draft must be submitted by May 5th. Mr. Godbey, Mrs. Hart, and Mrs. Cain will be working on this together.
- Review of CTE KOSSA Data-Currently, the school has 70 out of 103 students pass the KOSSA=68% pass rate. Last year the school only tested 66 students and had a pass rate of 47%.
- Status of CCR for LCHS-LCHS current CCR rate is 88%. When Fort Logan CCR is factored in we are at 73%.
- Review Financial Statements for March 2014-The finances for March were reviewed and there were no changes necessary.
- Review Section 6 Budget for 2014-2015-Mr. Harris provided the 2014-2015 section 6 budgets. All budget committee representatives met with their departments.
Updates on Vacancies at LCHS
The following are vacancies here at LCHS: Head Football Coach, Foreign Language, English, Math, FMD, Social Studies, and Science. Mr. Godbey will be attending a job fair on May 5th at EKU.
