On Tuesday, April 18, LCMS students will begin their third and final set of MAP tests for the 2015-16 school year. The Measures of Academic Progress, or MAP Test, allows students, teachers, and parents to see if students are on track for meeting proficient status for state testing and accountability in reading and math. Students who are not meeting goals can be strategically monitored and provided with interventions to assist them in making improvements.
As part of our school's GEAR-UP program, students take the MAP test three times each year (September, January, and April). After the testing window has closed, score reports are sent home for parent review. Scores are also used as part of course scheduling for students.
