Lincoln County Public Library Events:

There are many exciting activities and opportunities at the local library!  Simply log on to www.lcplinfo.org and select 'calendar' for a list of events or reference the flyer linked on the side panel of this page.   Make sure to check out your awesome Public Library!

eBooks are always available by visiting the library website at www.lcplinfo.org for easy access to downloadable eBooks, audiobooks, music, and videos for children, teens, and adults. 

Need help setting up a resume? Organizing email? Accessing government services like unemployment or social security? Contact the library at 606-365-7513 to schedule a time for one-on-one assistance.

The Library at Lincoln County Community Center (formerly Kings Mountain Community Center) will be open on Tuesdays, 3:00 pm—6:00 pm We have books for children and adults as well as a small collection of DVDs.  Two computers with internet access are available as well as free Wireless Internet access.  Visitors can borrow up to 5 items per visit from the Community Center Library and request items from Lincoln County Library.  Requested items can be placed on hold for pickup in Stanford, be picked up at the Community Center or delivered to your home or business in Lincoln County through Outreach services.

Library Hours ~ Tuesdays 3:00-6:00 pm ~ Located on the second floor.

Boys Scouts (age 11 or older) ~ Tuesdays 6:30-8:00 pm ~ Contact David Gambrel for more information.

4H Rabbit Club ~ Tuesdays 7:00-8:00 pm ~ Ages 9-18 years

 

Other Events: 

Stanford Rotary Club ~ Meets every Monday at noon at the Kentucky Depot Restaurant in Stanford 

Lions Club ~ Meets on the first and third Mondays every month at 6:30 pm at the Lincoln County Public Library ~ For more information, contact Bob Swett at 207-239-4766.

Distinguished Young Women Program ~ September 16 at 6:30 pm ~ LCHS Auditorium

United Way Day of Action ~ September 20 from 9:00 am till noon - Sign up to volunteer at www.hkuw.org

Youth Fall Fishing Derby ~ September 30 from 9:00 am till noon ~ Logan Hubble Park - All participants need to sign in at the fishing ramp. Heavy rain will cancel this event.

Bourbon Chase Race ~ October 13 ~  Runners will arrive in Stanford beginning around 7:30 pm.  Volunteers needed.  For more information, call Andrea Miller at 606-365-4118.
