Please join us in welcoming Spencer Crutchfield as the new Head Football Coach at Lincoln County High School. Mr. Crutchfield is a life-long resident of Garrard County and has ten years of varsity coaching experience. He served nine of those years at Garrard County High School coaching the running backs, wide-receivers and defensive backs. Crutchfield made the move to Madison Central in 2017, taking on the role of running back and defensive back coach. He also served as assistant coach for junior varsity and head coach of the freshman team. In addition to his duties on the football field, Mr. Crutchfield served as head coach of track and field at Madison Central.
Coaching has been a life-long dream of Crutchfield’s, one that he knows he has been blessed to pursue thus far. When offered the opportunity to coach the Patriots he said, “It has been an exciting experience considering I played football for a neighboring county and remember with great affection the unmatched experience that football offers young men. Now, having a chance to coach at a school with such a storied history, it is absolutely a dream come true.”
Crutchfield’s scholastic pedigree includes a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education from Eastern Kentucky University followed by a Master of Arts in Special Education from the University of the Cumberlands.
Mr. Crutchfield lives in Lancaster along with his wife Jordan and 17 month old son Cam Dayton. Welcome Mr. Spencer Crutchfield!
