Feb.  6-Blackout Day-students and staff are to wear black to show support for Hustonville Tigers basketball players and cheerleaders

Feb.  13-Valentines Card Exchange and Celebration


Reading-Our story this week is “I’m A Caterpillar.”  Students received the words to read list today.  Hopefully, we will be back on our regular homework scheduleJ  Students read story and study words tonight.  They will have their usual homework tomorrow night and words to read list is to be returned on Friday.  Read, read, read, with your child, please! Remember to use Lexia at home.


Spelling-The bossy r-er, ir, ur is the skill this week. Homework (5 x each) is due on Friday. Test on Friday!


Language Arts-The skill this week is verbs-am, is, are, was, and were. Please review papers as they come home to prepare for test on Friday.


Math-Chapter 5:  Addition and Subtraction Relationships test is on Wednesday.  The 100th day of school is on Friday, but we will be doing fun (100th day) activities on Thursday.  (Friday is our scheduled computer lab time.)  Remember to use Dreambox at home to strengthen math skills.


Science-Test tomorrow-bring your study guide, signed to school for a homework grade.
