Hi! I am Amanda Cooper and this is my tenth year at Hustonville; I've been teaching Kindergarten for five years. I love Hustonville Elementary and the culture and family atmosphere here. Our goal at Hustonville is that each child is successful each day. We try to encourage them to BE their best and DO their best. I want my students to be responsible, respectful, ready to learn, and safe. (ROARRRS)
I have a Bachelor of Science degree from EKU in Elementary Education P-5, with an English and Communications emphasis. I'm currently working on my Master's of Education in Elementary Teaching. I am a proud mommy to an 8-year-old daughter, who loves Hustonville as much as I do! We keep busy with church, soccer, dance classes, and gymnastics. I love to sing and play the guitar, and I've recently added a banjo to my list of instruments! My daughter plays the mandolin and the drums, and loves to sing as well.
My teaching partner is Mrs. Anita, and we make a great team! We have been working together for four years. We have a blast in Kindergarten, teaching our students new things and watching them grow. We love to be a part of the learning process. Please call us anytime with questions or comments! Go Tigers!
