It is with great excitement that the Lincoln County Schools announce the selection of Dreama Tomlison as Chief Academic Officer. After reviewing all applicants and conducting interview(s) Mrs. Tomlison was selected to lead the Academic Division.
Beginning July 1st, Mrs. Tomlison will replace Jackie Risden-Smith as the Chief Academic Officer. Mrs. Tomlison is the current principal at Crab Orchard Elementary School where she has served as the instructional leader, evaluator of certified and classified staff, manager of Title 1 budgets, chair of SBDM meetings, CSIP Coordinator, PD provider, PD facilitator, PLC meeting leader and RTI coordinator. Mrs. Tomlison has also served as a Reading First Coach, Media Specialist and elementary classroom teacher.
Join me in welcoming Dreama Tomlison in her new role. Dreama’s vast experience will be a strong asset as the district develops strategies designed to provide quality educational experiences for all students.
