Smith, Brad Communications Coordinator Hired

The Lincoln County School District is excited to announce the hiring of Mr. Brad Smith as the new Communications Coordinator.

 

A graduate of Lincoln County High School and a life-long Lincoln County resident, Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Public Relations from Eastern Kentucky University.

 

Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Lincoln County School District, Mr. Smith has served as the Solid Waste and Recycling Manager for both Garrard and Lincoln County and Nuisance Officer for the Lincoln County Fiscal Court. Since 2007, Mr. Smith has served as the Project Coordinator for the Administrative Office of the Courts.

 

Join me in welcoming Brad Smith to our district.  Brad’s vast experience will be a strong asset as the district develops strategies designed to improve communication with all stakeholders.

Story, Stacy Story Named Principal at Lincoln County Middle School

 

The Lincoln County School District is excited to announce the hiring of Mrs. Stacy Story as interim principal at Lincoln County Middle School.

 

A graduate of Lincoln County High School and veteran educator, Mrs. Story holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Secondary Teaching for English and Psychology from Western Kentucky University as well as a Master's Degree in Library Science and Rank I in Principalship from Eastern Kentucky University.

 

Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Lincoln County Middle School principal position, Mrs. Story began her teaching career at Northwest High School in Clarksville, TN. She has since served as a Forensics Coach at Russellville High School (Russellville, KY) and as an English teacher and Striving Interventionist at Lincoln County High School. In 2010, she was hired as the Academic Performance Consultant at Lincoln County High School where she oversaw the development of curriculum, assessment, and instruction. Since 2016, Mrs. Story has served as the assistant principal at Lincoln County High School, where she was immersed in the turn-around process and gained enormous experience in all facets of school leadership. 

 

Mrs. Story will assume her new position immediately.
