Lincoln County Public Schools wants your input about possibly applying to the Kentucky Department of Education for a Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) program. This program gives districts that miss school due to weather or other emergencies the opportunity to conduct school through virtual (technology) or other non-traditional means on days that the district would normally cancel school. The district would then show evidence of student participation and student learning and would submit a request to the Kentucky Education Commissioner for approval. If approved, students would not have to make up those days.
Our district would offer a blended approach of using technology and printed packets for students on NTI (Non-Traditional Instruction) days. Please respond to the survey below so that we can consider your input as we develop our potential NTI Plan. Thank you for your support!
