Bluegrass Community Action Scholarship Application - Blue Grass Community Action Partnership is offering a $750 scholarship to provide financial assistance to persons from Anderson, Boyle, Franklin, Garrard, Jessamine, Lincoln, Mercer, Scott, and Woodford Counties.

Kentucky Educational Development Corporation (KEDC) Scholarship Application - Eligibility: Must be a graduating high school senior who attends a high school in a KEDC member district; plan to attend a 2- or 4-year college or technical or vocational school; maintain at least a 3.0 GPA; meet Council on Postsecondary Education benchmarks on English, math and reading; submit an essay, and demonstrate financial need. Hope 53 Scholarship Application - HOPE 53 Ministries would like to provide scholarship funds for a graduating senior who plans to attend a Christian college/university and plans to pursue a career of Christian ministry/service.

Amount: $530 (to be used towards college expenses). Up to three scholarships will be awarded, to the top applicants from seniors attending any schools located in Boyle, Garrard, Lincoln, and Rockcastle Counties. Each scholarship will be $530.

CEDIK Appalachian Health Career Scholarship Application - The Community and Economic Development Initiative of KY (CEDIK) at the University of Kentucky is offering scholarships to Appalachian students pursuing an education in a health or health-related field. This scholarship is for high school seniors from an Appalachian county who will be enrolled in college full-time or part-time during the 2020-2021 academic year. The award is $2,500 maximum per semester, excluding part-time students, which would receive partial amount. The scholarship is for one year.

STOP THE BLEED Scholarship Application - is for all high school students. You can help yourself and help your school by a) making a 1 to 2 minute video or b) writing an essay from 250 to 500 words addressing one of the topic areas below.

Topic #1: Describe or show how you think Stop the Bleed helps to enhance personal and community resilience.
Topic #2: Describe or show how Stop the Bleed training can help at an accident, before emergency responders arrive.
Topic #3: Make the case: Do you think some or all students should be required to learn to Stop the Bleed?

Winning students will receive scholarship money towards post secondary education. The schools of the winning students will receive free STOP THE BLEED® Kits. Scholarship amounts awarded are as follows, $3,000 for first place, $1,500 for second place, and $500 for third place. The deadline to apply is April 21, 2020. UPDATED

High School Super Senior Scholarship - The Course Hero High School Senior Scholarship is designed to assist high school seniors in transitioning successfully into the next chapter in their academic career. The scholarship will be available only to high school seniors graduating in 2020.

  • Applicant must be a high school senior that has applied or has been accepted to a full-time program at a two-year or four-year college, vocational, technical, or private career institution. Institution must be listed here: https://ope.ed.gov/dapip/#/home
  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

James and Betty Holeman Scholarship Eligibility: Must be a graduating high school senior from a high school in the Lincoln Trail region, have a 2.5 cumulative GPA and plan to attend a 2- or 4-year academic or technical school. Award: $2,000

Rowland Family Scholarship Eligibility: Must be a resident of Anderson, Boyle, Garrard, Lincoln or Mercer County; be enrolled full time in an institution of higher learning or any course that will advance applicants educational or skill attainment beyond secondary school level; have a 2.5 cumulative GPA; and demonstrate financial need. Preference given to a former employee of or to the child of a former employee of Harrods Cleaners Inc. or RV Cablevision. Renewable. Deadline: March 15

Inter-County Energy Scholarship Eligibility: Must be the child of a resident of the Inter-County Energy service area and be an active member of the cooperative; be a current senior in good standing from an Inter-County Energy directorial district in Boyle, Casey, Garrard, Lincoln, Marion or Mercer County; plan to enroll in an accredited educational or training institution; and submit a brief autobiography.
