Update to the Stanford Police Department investigation and school lockdown from yesterday (October 20th): “In response to yesterday‘s events, we have increased patrol and security at the schools. We have received the screenshots from social media that have been making their rounds and are working to identify the sources. This case remains at the forefront and is still being actively investigated,” said Stanford Police Chief Zach Middleton. We have some very positive additions coming to LCMS. Students who have chosen in-person as their learning path will have new customized courses in their dashboard beginning Dec 1. From that point on, what a student sees each week will be what is due that week. Also, the actual grade recorded in a student's course, will now be the actual grade. These two new things in your student's course are really going to help everyone with knowing a student's progress. Also, beginning Dec 1, LCMS is rolling out new supports for students including, RTI interventions, GT supports, and daily tutoring. Staff members will be available Monday - Thursday nights from 6-9 pm starting Dec 1 to help support students. Please visit our school website for more information. We are so thankful for our entire Eagle family and we hope each and every one of you have a great Thanksgiving Holiday.

The July SBDM meeting is postponed to July 23 at 5:15 p.m.
The Lincoln County Preschool/Headstart Program is in the process of contacting all returning students to determine the number of available slots for the upcoming year. We are also working through the list of those who have newly applied. We will begin the screening process in the next couple of weeks. To begin with, we will screen many more students than we actually have slots for. We will keep a healthy waiting list, so that students can move in as soon as a spot becomes available. The current state guidelines call for reduced group sizes; therefore we will likely have fewer available slots than in previous years. Please be patient as we work through this process. Due to staff retirements, we are working with a limited staff and are training new staff as they come on board. Thank you for your patience and we look forward to meeting our youngest future patriots!❤️💙
