At tonight’s working board meeting, the Lincoln County Board of Education approved the creation of an Assistant Superintendent/Director of Academic Services Position. The position is expected to be filled as soon as possible and to be in place for the approaching school year.
Earlier this year, the board voted to abolish the Chief Academic Officer Position (effective July 1, 2023). The newly formed position is expected to fullfill some of the same job duties with the added duties of being the assistant superintendent as well.
