The track & field project is starting to take shape at Lincoln County High School. The turf field portion of the project is expected to be complete for the PBK Bank/WPBK-FM Death Valley Bowl on August 18th.
The iconic L was installed last Friday on the field and they are finishing up with the numbering, lines, end zones etc. If you look at the L (in the picture) you will see a circle around it that will be used for soccer.
Once the turf is complete they will finalize the track and put the stripes on it. This portion of the project likely will not be complete for the first football game. They have also installed the shot put, discus and high jump areas (behind visitor bleachers).
