At tonight’s LCBOE Working Meeting, Superintendent Bruce Smith recommended adding a School Resource Officer (SRO) to every school in the county. There are currently four SRO allocations for the district and this request would mean adding three additional SROs.
There will be a special-called meeting scheduled for early next week, due to the urgency of this decision, to take action on the request.
