We have recently begun installing interactive touchscreen panels (pictured) in elementary classrooms across the district. These panels serve the purpose of a fully functioning computer with a 65” display for teachers and students to use for classroom teaching.

This iniative originated during COVID-19 with new units being placed in classrooms at the high school and middle school. The goal for the district is to eventually have them in all classrooms.

Crab Orchard Elementary Principal Justin Abbott was excited to see them being installed at his school.  “It was Christmas morning for some of our teachers and students last week receiving these new panels. We are thankful for a school district that supports our school’s vision of innovative educators having the technology they need to engage students.”

Lincoln County Schools is a proud 1:1 technology district that allows students to have their own computing device to use for learning.
