Where do you work? What do you do there?
🏫 LCHS - I teach Advanced English 1 and the Teaching and Learning Pathway/Education Dual Credit classes. I also sponsor the Educators Rising Chapter. Oh! I mentor new teachers, too.
1. What is your favorite thing about your school?
❤️ My English Department Family… and my kids. My students are amazing. Oh! And room 303. It’s been my beloved classroom for the last 23 of my 27 years.
2. How do you spend your free time?
📚 Reading, coloring, studying the Bible, lesson planning (haha)
3. What is your favorite food?
🍲 Cheese grits
4. What is the best book you’ve ever read?
📕 Besides the Bible? To Kill a Mockingbird. It’s so special to me.
5. What is your favorite movie?
🎥 Braveheart (and Top Gun) (and Mulan)
6. If you could pick one place to visit on vacation, where would it be?
🌊 The Caribbean

👩🏫 Pat Miller, my senior English teacher

🏀 That’s a toughie…whoever my husband is coaching. 🙂
