Interim Principals
Lincoln County High School has named Assistant Principal Chase Padgett as its interim head principal and Billy Harris as an interim assistant principal.

Chase has been the assistant principal at Lincoln County High School since 2021. Before that, he was a teacher at Lincoln County High School and Boyle County Middle School. Chase was a 2008 graduate of Lincoln County High School. After high school he attended Campbellsville University where he graduated with a degree in Social Studies Education in 2012. He received his Master’s from the University of the Cumberlands in 2016 and then his Rank I from Asbury University in 2018.

Billy Harris currently serves as an Educational Recovery Leader for the Kentucky Department of Education through the office of Continuous Improvement and Support. He has over 31 years of experience as a teacher, instructional coach and an administrator. As an administrator,  Mr. Harris spent six years as an assistant principal at Lincoln County High School and two years as the head principal of Lincoln County Middle School.

“I am appreciative of the willingness of Mr. Padgett and Mr. Harris for stepping into these new roles at the high school,” said Superintendent Bruce Smith. “They both have ample experience as administrators and are familiar with our high school and the district. This will give us time to do a proper search and get a new head principal in place for next school year.”

Mr. Padgett and Mr. Harris will immediately begin their new roles at the high school.
