Staff raises

The Lincoln County Board of Education approved a raise for all employees for the 2025-2026 school year at tonight’s board meeting. Certified and classified staff will receive a 3% raise.

“Our two year salary increase will be 10%. We gave 7% for the current year and 3% for next year. I believe this is the largest two year increase of any of our neighboring districts,” said Lincoln County Finance Director Lee Ann Smith.

Since 2019-2020, certified staff has seen an 18% increase. Some examples of classified increases since 2019-2020 have been custodian pay by 31%, cook pay by 36%, bus driver pay by 27%, maintenance pay by 24%, and bookkeeper pay by 25%.

This will mark the 5th straight year of raises for both certified staff and classified staff.

The raises will be reflected on the 2025-26 salary schedule which goes into effect July 1st, 2025.
