Lincoln County Schools is excited to announce Andrea Goldsmith as the new principal at Waynesburg Elementary School. She has spent her entire career in education working for the district as a classroom teacher, math interventionist, instructional coach and most recently as the principal at Highland Elementary.
Mrs. Goldsmith is a 2012 graduate of South Laurel High School. After high school she attended Morehead State University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary and Special Education. She later received her Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Campbellsville University.
“Mrs. Goldsmith has been a great educator and leader for Lincoln County Schools,” said Superintendent Bruce Smith. “She has experience with the Waynesburg community, having spent time there during her career. She will do a great job continuing to lead her students and staff forward as she has done throughout her career.”
Andrea and her husband Boone, along with their daughter Marlee Rae, currently reside in Hustonville, KY. Please join us in welcoming Principal Goldsmith and her family back to Waynesburg Elementary School.
