LCHS Class of 2014 graduate Brandon Moore has been on the road touring with his rock band, Highway Natives. Moore grew up in Stanford before moving to Waynesburg his freshman year of high school.

After high school he attended Full Sail University and received a degree in Recording Arts. Immediately after college, Brandon moved to Nashville and took a job working for Reba McEntire’s studio, Starstruck Studios on Music Row.

Moore spent any free time he had working after hours developing his engineering skills by recording and mixing music with his friends. From 2017 to 2019 he worked with people he met in Nashville and eventually formed the Highway Natives in 2019.

Since then they have played all throughout the south-east and some of the mid-west. They are an American rock band, a big conglomerate of 70’s rock, modern alt-country, Americana and southern rock. The band just released their latest album, West of Blindside, that features a song called “Lincoln County Line” that is about Moore’s hometown.

We are proud of Brandon and his accomplishments! His band will be playing a show here locally at Englewood Estates on July 23rd for those interested in checking them out!
