Where do you work? What do you do there?
🏫 I work at Stanford Elementary. I teach 2nd grade Reading and Writing.
1. What is your favorite thing about your school?
🐱 At Stanford Elementary our students come first. Our staff works hard to ensure that our students feel safe and loved while receiving a great education.
2. How do you spend your free time?
🚶♀️ I enjoy spending time with my big family! I enjoy serving in my church. Physical activity is also important to me so I spend time each day walking.
3. What is your favorite food?
🍩 My favorite food is probably donuts. My husband spoils me by getting me one from Burke’s Bakery every Saturday morning.
4. What is the best book you’ve ever read?
📕 The Hiding Place
5. What is your favorite movie?
🎥 It’s A Wonderful Life
6. If you could pick one place to visit on vacation, where would it be?
🏖️ I would like to go to Belize and visit the beautiful beaches.
7. Who was your favorite teacher growing up?
👩🏫 Mrs. Cochran at Hustonville Elementary was my 4th grade teacher. This was many years ago. She would start each morning by reading the Bible. She cared so much for her students and taught me to love Reading. She had the greatest impact on me.
8. What is your favorite team?
🔵 The Kentucky Wildcats of course!
9. If you could make one rule in life, that everyone had to follow, what would it be?
👍 Treat others the way you want to be treated. Everyone deserves respect and kindness. If we did this, the world would be a better place.
10. Do you wear red on Friday?
🔴 Absolutely
