Update to the Stanford Police Department investigation and school lockdown from yesterday (October 20th):
“In response to yesterday‘s events, we have increased patrol and security at the schools. We have received the screenshots from social media that have been making their rounds and are working to identify the sources. This case remains at the forefront and is still being actively investigated,” said Stanford Police Chief Zach Middleton.
Extra law enforcement will be present all day today patrolling the schools/campuses. The safety of our staff and students is paramount.
