October is National Principals Month. Principals are the leaders of our schools. We are thankful for the impact they have on our students and staff at Lincoln County Schools.

Students, with missing HIF forms, will be bringing home a blank one today. Please send it back on Monday. 6th grade will have a field trip on Tuesday. Permission slips went home yesterday. Please send them back on Monday. Students cannot go UNLESS they return a signed permission slip

All rooms have been cleared; please go to 3rd when bell rings. Drill is OVER.

Friendly Reminder: Please submit the following forms if you haven't already. 1. Nurse Form (This is required so that our nurse can treat your child; extra paper forms are available from the nurse and the office.) 2. Benefits Forms (We need all families to fill this out so that we can continue to provide free lunches. If you have not filled it out, Mrs. Hicks has sent you an email with directions. Please check your inbox.) 3. Dental Van (If you want your child to get a free dental screening next week, and your paper form has been lost, go to http://bigsmailesdental.org.)

We are excited to welcome our Eagles tomorrow, Friday, August 9, for Open House! 6th grade will be from 5 - 7p.m. and 7th/8th grade will be from 6:30 - 8p.m. Schedules and information will be available at the tables located outside of the main entrance.

Please note the updated 24-25 LCMS Student Handbook. You will find the updated dress code, discipline matrix and other important information. A hard copy will be given to students the first week of school as well. We especially want students and families to know that cell phones and air pods are not allowed at LCMS. Airpods and/or expensive headphones should NOT be brought to school.

If you or someone you know have a kiddo that needs to be newly enrolled at Lincoln County Middle School, you may do so on any Wednesday during the summer. Please do not bring in or have any outside food brought in for students during the day. This has become a major disruption. Students need to either bring their lunch or eat school lunch. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

LCMS will have our grade level awards ceremonies on Monday, May 20 at the following times: 6th Grade - 8:30 7th Grade - 9:30 8th Grade - 10:30 Students recieving an award will have a letter sent home to inform families. All students will attend.
