The Lincoln County Board of Education presented State Representative David Meade with the Patriot Award earlier this week at a ceremony at the Lincoln County County Courthouse hosted by Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce Director Jenny Maloney. Superintendent Bruce Smith presented Representative Meade with the award on behalf of the board for his support in helping the district secure $12 million in state funding for improvements to school facilities. The second Class for induction into the Lincoln County High School Athletic Hall of Fame has been chosen. The ceremony will take place between games during the double-header Death Valley Bowl on August 21, 2026. Please see the press release below for information.
