Red Ribbon Week is October 27th through the 31st! Please join us in celebrating making healthy and safe choices! Each day, we'll take part in fun activities and dress-up themes that remind us to stay drug-free and make positive decisions for our future.

Our Book Fair will also be open Monday through Friday. Parents will have the opportunity to shop with their student Monday evening during Family Math Night.

Just a reminder, if your student is participating in the Pumpkin Book Character Contest, pumpkins should be brought to school by Thursday, October 23rd.

Voting will take place on our school's Facebook page October 24th through October 30th. Winners will be announced on Friday, October 31st. (1 like = 1 vote)

Good Evening Highland Families, Mid-terms came home with all students today along with their iReady reports. iReady is our diagnostic assessment students take three times per year in Reading and Math. On the bottom of each report you'll find the highlighted national norm/percentile ranking. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to your child's teacher on Monday. Enjoy your weekend!

Family Math Night has been moved to Monday, October 27th due to the community wide trick-or-treating event at Veteran's Park.

We’re ready for some Halloween fun! Join the competition, decorate a pumpkin as your favorite book character. Voting will take place on our school’s Facebook page October 24th through October 30th. Winners will be announced on Friday, October 31st. Students PreK through 5th grade are invited to participate! 1 like = 1 vote.

We will be hosting our "Back to School Dance" at Highland Elementary, next Friday at 5:00. We're looking forward to an evening full of fun!

REMINDERS: Morning Drop-Off: - Watch for staff stopping traffic on Tick Ridge for bus departures - Enter & Exit from Granville/Jenkins Rd - Car loop doors open at 7:35 Afternoon Pick-Up: - Have car tag visible to staff upon entering/until off campus - Enter from Tick Ridge (see map) - Watch for staff to point you to a line. If you are there before staff is out, fill up line next to building before starting the next one.
