County Judge/Executive Woods Adams began tonight’s board meeting by reading a proclamation of school board recognition.
Last night, the board elected Bruce Smith as the board chair for a two year term and tonight Etta Meek was elected as vice-chair for a two year term.

LCMS 6th grader Aubrey Cash was awarded 1st place in the Lion’s Club Peace Poster contest last night at the Lincoln County Public Library. Her poster will now move on to be judged in the district contest.

The LCHS senior cheerleaders appeared on WPBK-FM 102.9 this morning with Tim Estes to talk about their upcoming state competition on Friday at George Rogers Clark High School. The squad will also be competing at nationals in Orlando in February!
You can come help send the girls off to state this Thursday night at 7:30 pm at the LCHS gymnasium as they perform their state routine one last time in front of the home crowd as a a final tune-up!
