We are pleased to welcome Karen Machal to our School Counseling Team.
"2021 is my first year with the school counseling team at Stanford Elementary. I received my bachelor’s degree from Colorado Christian University. I Graduated from Lindsey Wilson College with my master’s degree in Counseling in 2020. I have one beautiful daughter and one handsome stepson both are adults now, but my “baby” is a 6-year-old pup named Griffin. During my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking, and reading."

Dear Stanford Families,
One of the things that we look forward to each year is getting to celebrate and recognize our local veterans here at school. As with most things, due to Covid we are having to take a different approach to salute our heroes. Even though we can’t salute you in person, we would like to try and recognize you virtually. Below you will find two different ways that you can submit your information. Please have your information submitted by midnight, Tuesday, November 10th. Thank you for taking a moment to do this and thank you for serving our great nation!
Sincerely,
Chris Woolums & Daniel Gay

Stanford Family,
It is with much sadness that we inform you of the passing of our student Josh Hargis. He passed away Friday, October 23, 2020.
Josh, also called “Joshie” by many who loved him, was a bright spot in any day. His precious voice, beautiful eyes, daily determination, and amazing strength stood out for sure.
On behalf of Stanford Elementary School, we wish to express our deepest condolences to the Hargis family. Our thoughts are also with our staff and students as we cope with this loss.
We are asking all to respect the privacy of the Hargis family as they mourn this great loss.
