
Cumberland Family Medical Center, Inc. held a groundbreaking ceremony today for their new First Choice Clinic at 135 Wade Owens Road in Stanford. They also staff the Healthy Kid Clinic school nurse program that we use at our schools.

Some Lincoln County administrators and board members attended “Rural Tech Talk” today at Kentucky Fresh Harvest in Stanford, KY. This discussion was hosted by Spectrum who is in the beginning stages (along with other communication companies) of expanding broadband internet access to residents in Lincoln County.

Several of our students were able to volunteer at the Ragnar Bourbon Chase this past Friday night in downtown Stanford. Thanks to all of our staff members and students who were able to pitch in to help make the Stanford stop one to remember for the runners!

LCHS dual credit students toured the University of Kentucky recently as part of the UK Center for Next Generation Leadership. This partnership allows students to earn colleges credits while learning more about the university.

The Ragnar Road Bourbon Chase will be coming through Stanford, KY this Friday. Students from Chef Stephen Cassidy’s food and nutrition class at LCHS stayed after school and baked hundreds of cookies for the event!

LCHS dual credit students in Mrs. Story’s and Mrs. Hamm’s classes took a visit to Campbellsville University yesterday. The dual credit courses the students are taking are through CU. The students were able to tour the campus and got a taste of campus life with lunch in the cafeteria. It was a great experience for our students!
