LCHS dual credit students toured the University of Kentucky recently as part of the UK Center for Next Generation Leadership. This partnership allows students to earn colleges credits while learning more about the university. #KidsMatterMost 🔴

Several of our students were able to volunteer at the Ragnar Bourbon Chase this past Friday night in downtown Stanford. Thanks to all of our staff members and students who were able to pitch in to help make the Stanford stop one to remember for the runners! #TEAMLincoln

The Ragnar Road Bourbon Chase will be coming through Stanford, KY this Friday. Students from Chef Stephen Cassidy’s food and nutrition class at LCHS stayed after school and baked hundreds of cookies for the event! 🍪 🏃🏾 🍪 🏃🏻‍♀️ 🍪

LCHS dual credit students in Mrs. Story’s and Mrs. Hamm’s classes took a visit to Campbellsville University yesterday. The dual credit courses the students are taking are through CU. The students were able to tour the campus and got a taste of campus life with lunch in the cafeteria. It was a great experience for our students! #KidsMatterMost

LCHS is excited to announce the return of Play School. Play School is an opportunity for our students to demonstrate their skills in caring for young children. See info below.

Waynesburg Elementary is looking for an AmeriCorps worker to provide mathematics intervention to 3rd-5th grade students and to provide drug prevention education to all 4th grade students. Candidates must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma/GED. Member Benefits: • The total living allowance for 2022-23 is $13,200 for a full-time member. Payments will be made bi-weekly. • Healthcare coverage, if applicable • Childcare coverage, if the member qualifies • Education award in the amount of $4,546 for full-time, 1200-hour member. • Professional development trainings (professional employment skills, soft skills, etc.), mental health awareness activities • Student loan forbearance and interest payments if the member qualifies. Sara Dunn and Kalyn Peek appeared on WPBK-FM 102.9 this morning discussing all things LCHS FFA. Our FFA students appear on radio once a month to give an update about what is going on with the organization here locally.
