LCHS junior MaKayla Greer is part of a selective first year program, Shaping Our Appalachian Region (SOAR), working with partners to address the ongoing nationwide nursing crisis by creating the Appalachian Nursing Academy.

Mark your 🗓 calendar!

LCHS students have spent the week in Washington, DC, visiting museums, touring the Capitol and witnessing the Changing of the Guard at Arlington National Cemetery.
The trip was made possible due to group receiving the highly competitive ASPIRE history grant (through KEDC).
